Jon Meisinger

Jon Meisinger, 50, Independence, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2003. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at the Community of Christ Auditorium, Lower Assembly Room. The family suggests contributions to Friends of the Animals. Jon was born June 19, 1953 to Gordon and Marietta Meisinger in Omaha, NE. He attended William Chrisman and graduated in 1971. Mr. Meisinger enjoyed building computers and surfing the on the Internet. He was employed as night security and locksmith, for the Community of Christ Auditorium for 27 years. His father, Gordon D. Meisinger, precedes Jon in death. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Julie Meisinger, one daughter, Rachel Meisinger, both of the home. One son, Christopher Meisinger, North Kansas City, MO; two brothers, Gordon Meisinger, Jr.; Claremore, OK; William Meisinger, and his mother Marietta Meisinger, both of Dallas, TX; two nephews, one niece and many friends.
