Priscilla Sue Mershon, 73 of Buckner, MO passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Burial will follow in Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time Saturday at the chapel. Donations may be made in her name to the Crossroads Hospice or the Lung Cancer Society. Priscilla was born June 4, 1945 in Wheaton, MN to Sheldon and Ruth (Allison) Griffith. She was a longtime area resident graduating from Fort Osage High School in 1963. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s events, family vacations and spending time with her family. Survivors include; her husband Jack of the home; 3 children, Kelly Payne and husband Raymond and Kevin Mershon and wife Shelley all of Independence, MO and Kim Park and husband Todd of Lee’s Summit, MO; her twin sister, Patricia Griffith of Slater, MO and sisters, Janis Kelly of Buckner, MO and Candy McKinney of Sibley, MO; 4 grandchildren, Kyle (Amanda) and Ryan (Meaghen) Payne and Kenzie and Kamden Park; and 4 great grandchildren, Jaxon, Kenna, Macklin and Ayva Payne. She was preceded in death by 4 siblings, Sharon Butler, Shannon Allison, Jeff Griffith and Penny Riley.
