Michelle Lynn Sharp, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on April 21, 2025, in Independence, Missouri. Born on August 26, 1978, in Kansas City, Missouri, Michelle brought joy and warmth to all who knew her. Described as fun-loving, kind, and funny, she had a vibrant personality that drew people in. A dedicated Register Nurse at North Kansas City Hospital, she dedicated her life to caring for others, exemplifying the compassion and kindness that characterized her existence.
Michelle was a proud graduate of Truman High School and earned her degree from Park University, where she built a foundation for her impactful career. She embraced life with enthusiasm, spending time with family and friends both near and far, often engaging in heartfelt conversations over the phone or during visits. Michelle had a passion for shopping and found joy in contemporary Christian music, often filling her space with the melodies that uplifted her spirit. She adored flowers of all types, inviting their beauty and fragrance into her life, and her favorite color, yellow, perfectly mirrored her sunny disposition.
Above all, Michelle cherished her family, which was her proudest accomplishment. She is survived by her beloved son, Ronell Shores III; her caring parents, Thomas and Terry Sharp; her dear brother, Tommy Sharp; and her faithful companion, Jagger, who was always by her side. Each relationship she nurtured showcased her tremendous capacity for love and her dedication to those closest to her.
Her passing, much too soon and surrounded by love, has left an indelible void in the hearts of many. A visitation will take place on May 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service celebrating Michelle's life at 3:00 PM at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence. In this time of memory and reflection, we honor a remarkable woman whose spirit enriched the lives she touched. Michelle Lynn Sharp will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
