Patsy Milburn, of Grain Valley, MO, died Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at St, Luke's East Hospital. She was 57.
Patsy was born December 4, 1962 in Chillicothe, MO, was a 1981 graduate of Oak Grove High School, and graduated from Practical Nursing School in 1987. Patsy was a very respected nurse by the physicians and nurses she worked with and loved by her patients. She currently was employed at Plaza Infectious Disease Clinic in KCMO. She spent several years working for Dr. Thomas Alcox. She also worked in Geriatric Nursing working with Alzheimer Clients.
On October 29, 1994, she married her true love and soulmate, Jeffrey Milburn, who survives of the home. In addition to her husband, Jeff, she is survived by her adored children, daughter Summer Likins (and Val) of Olathe, KS., and son Dusty Likins of Lee's Summit, MO; her mother, Molly Holbrook and her father Gary Taylor; two sisters, Darlene (Jeff) Turner and Terri (Mike) Tittone; nieces; Tiffany, Bridgett and Madelyn; nephews, Adyen, Maxx and Mitch; her mother-in-law, Peggy Milburn; sister-in-law Gina Milburn; great niece Khloe and two great nephews, Brody and William; and Pam Opfer ("the Thelma to her Louise"); as well as, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Patsy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clyde and Lou Etta Gilgour and paternal grandparents, Dale and Pauline Taylor; and recently by her father-in-law, Charles Milburn.
An open visitation adhering to county gathering guidelines will be held Tuesday, December 8, from 6-8pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E 39th Street in Independence, MO.
A small, private family funeral will be Wednesday, December 9th at the Speaks Suburban Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Alzheimer's Association in Patsy's name.
