Barbara Mae Miller (Shoemaker)

Barbara Mae Miller, 84 of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at her residence from ALS. Cremation is planned with private inurnment at a later date. Barbara was born November 22, 1933 to William Oscar and Celma Patricia (Cable) Shoemaker. She had worked for a number of years as a supervisor in the insurance industry before she retired. She enjoyed collecting antiques. Survivors include; her husband Charles Miller of the home; a daughter, Pamela Smith of Independence, MO; 7 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 21 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Faherty and a granddaughter, Rhonda Caswell.
