Charles Ray Miller

Charles Ray Miller, 79 of Independence, MO passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at his residence. Cremation is planned with private family inurnment to be held at a later date. Charles was born May 21, 1938 in Boonville, MO to Benjamin and Roxie Marie (Hodges) Miller and has been a longtime area resident. He was a truck driver and had worked for Adams Truck and Transfer for over 30 years until he retired in the mid 1990’s. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with family. He is survived by; his 5 children, David Kiser of Dallas, TX, Stella Marie Kiser of Katy, TX, Benjamin Kiser and wife Charlotte of Leander, TX, Charles Edward Kiser and wife Kelly of Katy, TX and Todd Jenkins of Slater, MO; a sister, Betty Jo Brueckner and husband Bob of Boonville, MO and a granddaughter, Marshella Phillips of Independence, MO. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara in 2017 and an infant brother, David Wayne Miller..
