Charles W. "Chuck" Miller

Charles W. "Chuck� Miller, 67, Independence, MO passed away April 4, 2006 at his home. Services will be 10 am, Sat., April 8, 2006 at Messiah Lutheran Church, Independence, MO; interment at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Friday at Speaks Suburban Chapel. The family suggests contributions to Kansas City Hospice. Chuck was born March 29, 1939 in Shubert, NE. He was a 28-year Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War as a helicopter pilot. Chuck then worked for the Federal Reserve as a bank examiner for 28 years retiring in 2003. He was very involved in Messiah Lutheran Church and served as an elder and usher. Chuck is survived by his wife Nancy Miller, of the home; son Charles Miller, Jr. and wife Stacy, St. Peters, MO; daughter Larrie Diveley and husband Wayne, Independence; sister Mary Simmons and husband Paul, Highland, KS; and grandchildren Drew, Alissa, Adam, Charles III, Allie and Madeline.
