Deborah "Debbie" Miller (Gregg)

December 30, 1961 — September 10, 2019

Deborah “Debbie” Miller, 57, of Independence, MO passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 after a brave battle with chronic respiratory illness. A Celebration of Life will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055. Debbie was born on December 30, 1961 in North Kansas City, MO to Joseph and Mary (Hisey) Gregg. She worked at Winstead’s in Independence for many years where she brought joy to her customers with her ever present smile. Debbie’s main role in life was being a wife and mother of three. She enjoyed spending her summers outside, soaking up the sun by the pool. She went all out on every holiday to ensure her children’s happiness. Debbie loved fast cars and classic rock and enjoyed many concerts with Kevin, her husband, who affectionately called her his “Sunshine.”. She was a lover of dogs and adored her collections of angels and Donald Duck memorabilia. Most of all she loved her husband, children and grandchildren. She will be remembered by husband of 30 years, Kevin E. Miller; her daughter Katrina Gregg of Lee’s Summit, MO; son Travis Miller of Sioux Falls, SD; daughter Ashley Marquess and husband Coleman of Blue Springs, MO; and grandchildren Rylan, Alexis, Katherine, Madelyn, Lucas, Sean, and Lawrence.
