E. Cleo Miller (Sanders)

E. Cleo Miller, 94, Independence, MO passed away Sept. 20, 2019. Graveside services will be 10 am, Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Mt. Washington Cemetery. The family requests contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 7285 W 132nd St, Overland Park, KS 66213.
Cleo was born Dec. 27, 1924 in Jefferson City, MO but lived nearly all of her life in Independence, MO. She graduated from William Chrisman High School and helped organize many Reunions for the Class of 1942. During WWII she worked at the Ford plant. While raising her son she was very involved in 4-H and ROTC. She was caregiver to her son, her parents and later to her husband during their illnesses. She liked to sew, paint and enjoyed playing Canasta.
Cleo was preceded in death by her husband Clare Miller and son Robert Miller. She is survived by seven nieces and nephews and many other family members.
