Michael D Miller, 62, Blue Springs, MO passed away Nov. 28, 2006 at St. Mary�s Health Center. Services will be 2 pm, Sat. Dec. 2, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; cremation. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Friday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Mike was born March 4, 1944 in Wichita, KS. He graduated from Winfield (KS) High School and the Sunset School of Biblical Studies. He was a U.S Navy veteran. He was a member of the Lee�s Summit Church of Christ and had served as a full-time minister in Russell, KS for two years. Mike worked at the Lake City Munitions Plant for 26 years and retired in 2000. He loved to fly radio-controlled airplanes and was a member of the 49th Jumbo Squadron at Lake Jacomo. Mike was also a mentor to youth for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Ruth Anne (Craft) Miller, of the home; sons Benjamin Grant Miller, Blue Springs, MO; Reuben Levi Miller, Camden, MO; Caleb Andrew Miller, Blue Springs, MO; sister Sharon L. Wilborn, Winfield, KS; half-sister Darlene Dobbs, Kirkland, WA; half-brother Harold Grindle, Anchorage, AK; aunt Dorothy Piper, Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren Maddison Anna Miller, Declan Christopher Miller and Maxwell Owen Kowalski. .
