David H. Minter, 65, Independence Mo., died Jan. 12, 2004 at the Medical Center of Independence. Services will be 2 pm, Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm, Thursday at the funeral home. There will be a ceremony performed by the Boy Scouts Tribe of Mic-0-Say at 8 pm, Thursday. He had served as a Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop #383, was a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say, a member of the Christian Life Center, and a U.S. Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife, Myrna L. Minter, of the home; sons, D. Thomas Minter, and wife, Twila, K.C. Mo.; Timothy H. Minter, and wife, Megan, Grain Valley, Mo.; sister, Jo Ann Jones, Harjo, OK; brothers, Jim Minter, Seminole, OK; Sam Minter, Greenville, TX; sister, Sue Presley, Seminole, OK; and grandchildren Jonathan Minter, Amber Minter, Marcyn Minter, and Mallin Minter; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews
