Sydney Anne Montgomery, 49, Kansas City, MO passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014.
Sydney was born May 8, 1964 in Moberly, MO the daughter of Robert Campbell and Judith Gail (Scaefer) Montgomery. She was a graduate of Center High School. Sydney had worked for the American Cancer Society and most recently with Transcriptions Unlimited as a medical transcriptionist. Sydney enjoyed being with family and friends and spending time with them at Truman Lake.
Survivors include her brother, Michael Robert Montgomery; life companion, Mitch Kuhn of 24 years; nephew, Hunter Charles Montgomery; sister-in-law, Kim Kircher; and additional aunts, uncles, and family. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family would gratefully request memorial contributions be made to the Robert C. Montgomery Scholarship Fund or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
