Bertha Moore

Bertha Louise Moore, 91 of Independence, MO passed away, Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Rosewood Health Center. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Woodlawn Cemetery. Donations may be made in her name to the Independence Police Department K-9 Unit. Bertha was born September 10, 1920 in Independence, MO to Howard and Lillie (Hook) Malbaff and has been a lifelong area resident. She was a beloved wife and homemaker who enjoyed gardening and canning. She was baptized Presbyterian. She was married to Edward Moore who preceded her in death on May 19, 2010. Survivors include; 3 nieces, Carol Dudley, Judy Wollenberg and Clara Jo Wiser and a nephew, Ronald Joe Malbaff.
