Nina Moore, 96, passed away October 6, 2014. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014, from 10-11:00am, at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 West Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO 64052. A graveside service will be held at Lone Jack Cemetery directly following the visitation.
Nina was born on January 11, 1918, in Lone Jack, MO, to Robert Helmig and Edith Faulkenberry. On March 27, 1937, she married Ezra Franklin Moore; to that union were born three children. She was a longtime member of Fairmount Christian Church, and enjoyed volunteering at the local hospital.
She is preceded in death by her dear husband of 58 years, Ezra. She is survived by her three children: Eugene Franklin Moore and wife Kelly, Linda Rhodelander and husband Ken, and Princess Terryberry and husband John; six grandchildren: Michael Moore, Sandra Brisbin, Debra Allison, Sheryl Searle, Kalene Bagwell, and Kenny Lee Rhodelander; two step-grandchildren: Candice Schutz and Gene Sirabella; and 15 great-grandchildren.
