Patricia “Patty” Ann Moore
Patricia “Patty” Ann Moore, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away Sunday May 1, 2022. She was 63 years of age.
Patty was born on April 6, 1959, in Independence, Missouri, the daughter of Maynard “Bud” Taber, Jr. and Lois (Warnock) Taber, the youngest of three children. Patty grew up in the Independence area then her family moved to Lee’s Summit, Missouri, where Patty graduated from Lee’s Summit High School. Patty met Jeff Moore when she started working at Independence Audio and they married on October 1, 1983. Patty and Jeff had one daughter, Carly, who was her world. Patty worked in bookkeeping for many years and was currently working for Wilbert Funeral Services.
Patty inherited her mother’s exquisite taste and love of shopping. She enjoyed music, going to concerts, and hanging out with her daughter and best girlfriends. Patty was incredibly thoughtful; she was always looking for ways to let her loved ones know she cared by leaving surprise notes, picking up gifts she thought they would like or just sending words of encouragement when you needed them most. She loved making crafts and was an exceptional cook, there wasn’t anything she couldn’t create. Throughout her lifetime, Patty adopted and spoiled multiple dogs. She will be deeply missed by her current fur-child Dexter, who followed her every move, as well as her equally spoiled granddogs, Sandi, Bruno, and Walter. Patty was an incredible woman and will be dearly missed.
Patty is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Moore; daughter, Carly Moore (fiancé, Matt Pascoe); father, Maynard “Bud” Taber, Jr.; sister, Marilyn Faught (husband, Jim Hadden); sister-in-law, Kathy Taber; niece, nephews, and extended family and friends.
