Richard R. Moran

Richard R. Moran, 88 of Independence, MO passed away Fri., Jul 8, 2005 at his home. Graveside services will be 10:30am, Wed, Jul 13, 2005 at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 7 - 8:30 pm, Tuesday at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Indep. MO. Mr. Moran was born on Jan 9, 1917 to Charley and Bertha Moran in Blairstown, MO. He grew up in Chilhowee, MO and then moved to Kansas City. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army Engineers in the Pacific. He worked for the ATA for 33 years, retiring in 1979. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Rachel, Chloe and Virginia. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Charlene and daughter Sharon and son-in-law Conrad Fisher all of Independence.
