Jack E. Morgan, 93, of Blue Springs, MO passed away January 15, 2018. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. service on Friday, January 19, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Burial at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Jack was born July 5, 1924 in Camdenton, MO to E.E. and Nettie Morgan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War. Jack was a Game Warden for the state of Nebraska for 25 years, and then went on to a career with the U.S. Postal Service, where he worked in Kansas City, KS until his retirement. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Martha Morgan; and two siblings, Harland Morgan and Theda Thompson. He is survived by his wife, Clara Morgan; daughter, Lanette Daniels and husband John; son, Jack Morgan II; three grandchildren, Jessica Van Bibber, Ashley Daniels and Taylor Duke; along with six great grandchildren.
