Jennifer R. Morlan

Jennifer R. Morlan was born March 11th 1959 in Independence Mo. She is survived by her children William Stratton of Independence, Mo, Michelle McDonald and husband Scott McDonald of Raytown, Mo, Guy Wake of Fortuna, Mo, Jennifer Wake of Kansas City, Mo, and Heather Brooks of Independence, Mo.; her 13 grandchildren Kiersten, Paige, Mathen, Colin, Ethan, Connor, Guy, Stephanie, Hailey, Sophia, Catherine, Richard, and Alex; her sisters Alexis Huddleston of Oak Grove, Mo, Donna Morlan of Blue Springs, Mo; brother John Morlan of Independence, Mo. She was a very caring person who worked hard her whole life. She was generous even in her passing, always putting others before herself. She passed away Friday June 2nd in the home of her sister Alexis, surrounded by loved ones. She is preceded in death by her mother Pauline Morlan, father John Morlan, sister Teresa Cooper, sister Barbara Graham, and her grandson Noah William Stratton. Services will be 10 am, Tuesday, June 13 held at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Independence Mo 64052 interment at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation is Monday June 12th from 6-8 p.m.at the chapel.
