Charles Edward “Chuck” Morris passed away peacefully at home on December 24, 2020. He was 84.
Charles (Chuck) was born in Kansas City, Missouri to parents Walt and Mildred Morris on September 10, 1936. He had 5 siblings: Lorretta (deceased), Louise (deceased), Gloria, Patrick and Maria (deceased).
Charles grew up playing on the Blue River often telling exciting stories of his adventures. He married Patricia Ann Ryan in 1956 and had 4 children.
Charles worked over 30 years at Lake City Army Ammunition plant where he was a mechanical engineer, Supervisor and eventually retired as Senior Engineer.
Charles was a member of St. Joseph The Worker Parish. He was a little league coach and Boy Scout Troop committeeman. He was a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He enjoyed Fishing, the Lake of the Ozarks, duck hunting, Taxidermy and barbecuing.
He was a great Husband, Father, grandfather and great grandfather: instilling in his children Faith in God, Hard Work, and the enjoyment of life. We will miss your humor Daddy Dog!
Charles leaves behind his wife Patricia and children Charles Michael
(Teresa), Marsha Marie (Edward), Mark Steven (Tricia)l Patrick Joseph (Sondra). Grand Children (Alexis, Ashton, Michael, & Tonya). Great grand kids (Noah, Kinzy & Jensen) A sister Gloria Kelly (Terry) and brother Patrick Morris (Carol) and many nieces, nephews and friends...
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, American Diabetes Association or to a catholic charity of the donors choice.
Due to COVID restrictions a private graveside service will be held at Mt. Olivet.
