Harl G. "Harley� Morris, 72 of Blue Springs, MO passed away, Tue. Nov. 8th 2005. A memorial service will be 1:00 pm, Sat, Nov 12, 2005 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St, Indep. MO. A private inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Catholic Community Services Hospice, 2220 Central Ave., KCKS 66102. Mr. Morris was born on Apr 8, 1933 to Grover and Iva (Husted) Morris in Sni Mills, MO. He had been with the Jackson County Sheriff�s Dept for over 34 years, retiring in 1995 as Captain. He was an avid lover of Bluegrass Music and could play any string instrument and truly enjoyed just sitting and picking the guitar with his buddies. He was a member of the Blue Springs Masonic Lodge where he had been Past Master. Mr. Morris was a US veteran having served in the Air Force during the mid 1950�s. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Pat Morris of Blue Springs, MO. A son, Ken Morris of California and a daughter, Tracy Summers of Blue Springs, MO. Four grandchildren, Mistey Hines, Daniel O�Dell Jr., Kevin Morris and Lindsay Morris. Two great grandchildren, Sadie Hines and Trey Hines. Two sisters, Louise Cutshall of Oak Grove and Mary Story-Bellville and husband Virgil of Independence MO and by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
