Harry Wesley, “Wes” Morris, 82, Lee’s Summit, MO, formerly of Gravois Mills, MO, passed away May 23, 2012. A graveside service with Full Military Honors will be at 1 pm, Friday, May 25 at Blue Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Wilshire at Lakewood, 600 N.E. Meadowview Drive, Lee’s Summit, MO 64064.
Wes was born Sept. 20, 1929 in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Northeast High School. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a Baptist and a Mason.
Wes was preceded in death by wife Wanda J. Morris; son Harry Wesley Morris, Jr.; companion Jeanne M. Collins and twin sister Anna May Blackburn. He is survived by son David Morris and wife Dianne, Laurie, MO; sister Thelma Brisbin, Independence, MO; Marry Etta Honeyfield; Eunice McCartney, both of Pittsburg, MO; Betty Brandes, Springfield, MO; two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
