William M. Morris

William M. Morris, 77, of Independence, MO passed away on November 10, 2005 at the Carmel Hills Living Center. A visitation will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 14th at the Suburban Chapel, with burial at Floral Hills Cemetery. William was born on December 25, 1927 in Cookeville, TN to William and Daisy Morris. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. Along with his many interests, William was an avid golfer and a big sports fan. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Julia A. Morris. William is survived by one daughter, Theresa Brown; two sons, William P. Morris and Robert Morris; two sisters, Lucille Snow and Rita Lyle, both of Cookeville, TN; and six grandchildren.
