Bertha Lina Morrison

Bertha Lina Morrison, 97, of Independence, MO, passed away at Rosewood Health Center on Wednesday, March 22, 2006. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2006 at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 10-11:00 a.m. Friday at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to The Groves. Bertha was born November 24, 1908 in Manitoba, Canada to John and Susan (Ward) Dallyn. She married Norman Victor Morrison in 1929, and were married for 58 years. Together, they were long-time members of the 39th Street Community of Christ Church. Mrs. Morrison is survived by her daughter Vera Berray of Millbrook, NY; great-grandchildren Lauren and Lachlan Berray. Bertha was preceded in death by her husband Norman in 1987; and her grandsons Robert in 1995 and David in 2001.
