Evelyn Morrison

Evelyn L. Morrison, 91, Raymore, MO, formerly of Independence, MO, passed away June 21, 2013. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am, Wed., June 26 at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church, 10017 36th Terrace, Independence, MO 64052; entombment at Mt. Olivet Mausoleum. Visitation will be 6-8 pm with the Rosary at 7:30 pm, Tuesday, at Carson-Speaks Chapel. 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052.
Evelyn was born Nov. 22, 1921 in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Northeast High School. In her earlier years she worked for Wilson Sporting Goods and Nelly Don in Kansas City. She enjoyed walking and shopping but most of all loved her family. She was a member of the parish at Nativity of Mary for over forty years.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband George Morrison; brothers Walter and Jack and sisters Janet and Shirley. She is survived by daughter Sandy Littler and husband Darrell, Belton, MO; granddaughters Dana Wood and husband Chris, Savage, MN; Nicole Christy and husband Clint, Kansas City, MO; great-granddaughters Alyssa and Kendra Wood and Evie (Evelyn) Christy and many nieces and nephews.
