Walter Joseph Mosier, 59, went to be with the Lord on July30, 2004 after a monumental four-year fight with cancer. A visitation will be held 6 - 8 pm, Tuesday, Aug. 3 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Cremation. The family suggests contributions to the Shriner�s Childrens Hospital c/o the Ararat Shrine.
Walt was born in Washington, PA on April 9, 1945 to Leo and Mary (Pabian) Mosier; the third of eight children. He was co-owner of Clark Exterminating Co., Inc. in Lee� Summit. His business was one of the high spots of his life. He was also a member of the Masons and Ararat Shrine. He enjoyed fifteen years of riding a motorcycle and having fellowship with this fellow Shriners. Walt was preceded in was preceded in death by his father, Leo and sister, Pam. He leaves his loving wife of 38 years Donna and oldest son, Walter Scott Mosier, his wife Cheryl and two grandchildren, Crystal; and Joe of Lebanon, MO; his youngest son David and wife Debra and granddaughter Macee of Independence, MO; his mother, Mary Mosier, K.C., MO; six brothers and sisters, Stan Mosier and wife Connie, Parkville, MO; Rose Eason and husband Larry, Liberty, MO; William Mosier and wife, Jackie, Indep., MO; Robert Mosier and wife Dian, Indep., MO Mary Ann Walker, K.C., MO; and Anne Marie Moran, Sibley, MO; eight nieces and nephews. Though the last four years were spent fighting cancer, her found time to be with his beloved grandchildren as much as he could. Though we did not have enough time together, the time we had will comfort us �til we can all be together again
