Jack E. Mouse, 88 of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday January 23, 2007 at his residence. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial will be in Blue Springs Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday at the chapel. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Jack was born August 10, 1918 in Seneca Rock, WV to Joel and Amanda (Kerns) Mouse. He owned and operated Amusicoin Machine Service for nearly 40 years. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid baseball fan and a devoted and longtime follower of the Royals. He also enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the F.O.E. lodge #3717 in Sugar Creek. Jack was an Army veteran having served in the European theatre during WWII. He was married to Juana Louise (Jones), who passed away in 1993. Survivors include; 2 sons, Patrick W. Mouse and his wife Barbara of Bolivar. MO and Joel "Rok� Mouse of Blue Springs, MO; a daughter, Jamie Kyle and her husband Kit of Beckville, TX; a sister, Millie McAdams of Tulsa, OK; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a long-time friend Brenda Gilson and former son-in-law Jack Nead. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Nead in 1992.
