Marjorie Mae Moyer

Marjorie Mae Moyer, 76, of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, August 17, 2003 at Independence Manor Care. Services will be 2 pm Thursday, August 21st at Geo. C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home; with interment in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 pm at the funeral home. Marjorie was born February 6, 1927 in Independence, MO to Louis and Bertha Smith. She was a 1944 Paseo High School graduate Marjorie worked in accounting for Macy�s downtown store for 29 years until it closed, she then joined the accounting department at the Jackson County Courthouse, Kansas City, for 15 years, retiring in 2000. Marjorie is survived by her son, Edward L. Frank of Kansas City, MO; daughter, Phyllis A. Taylor of Independence, MO; step sons, Michael Moyer of Independence, MO, and Phillip Moyer of Long Beach, CA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Gross of Shreveport, LA.
