Cora A. Mullen, 70, of Greenville, OH, formerly of Blue Springs, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville, OH. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel on 39th St. in Independence, MO. Burial will be in Blue Springs Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Monday evening at the chapel. Cora was born July 22, 1932 in Reliance, SD to Irving and Edna (Engman) Otto and raised in Hot Springs, SD. She was a homemaker until she began her real estate career. Cora retired as a real estate agent in 1999 after 25 years of serving the Blue Springs community. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Greenville, Ohio and a former member of the First Baptist Church of Grain Valley, MO. She enjoyed painting and was a member of the Greenville Art Guild. She was married to Richard E. Henderson, they had 3 children and were later divorced. She then married Donald L. Dawes who passed away in 1985. She later married Clarence Mullen who also passed away in 1993. She is survived by her current husband, Arthur "Cliff� Mullen of the home; 2 daughters, Susan and the late Robert Rathbun of Blue Springs, MO, Vickie and Andy Cox of Blue Springs; a son Richard and Carol Henderson of Wichita, KS; a brother, Kenneth Otto of Santa Maria, CA; stepchildren, Dianne Brown, Jim Mullen, Vicky True, Cindy Singleton, David Mullen, Perry Mullen, Bonnie Hinsley, Sandy Reeder, David Dawes, Sheila Lyons and Shirley Anweiler; grandchildren; Nathan VanNess, Eric VanNess, Margo Cox, Elizabeth Cox; a great granddaughter, Victoria and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Donations to the American Cancer Society. Cora will be loved by many and missed by all.
