Murray A. Myers

Murray A. Myers, 90, of Grandview, MO passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at his home. Services will be 11 am Saturday, February 26th at Speaks Suburban Chapel; with interment in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 am until service time. Murray was born November 30, 1914 in New England, OH to Ralph and Elsie Myers. He was a veteran of the Army Air Force Technical Training Command during WW II. Murray was a certified airframe mechanic, working and supervising repairs on aircraft engines for several companies in the area and in California. He had retired from Marcy Machine Works in Grandview, MO. Murray is survived by his wife of 67 years, Helen May Myers; son, Ralph R. Myers of Grandview, MO; sister-in-law, Marie Simpson of Independence, MO; also several nieces and nephews.
