Kathryn Ann Nauser

Kathryn Ann Nauser, of Independence, MO, passed away on Tuesday Dec. 23, 2003 at Rosewood Health Care Center. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Sat, Dec. 27, 2003 at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church, 10017 E. 36th Terr., Independence, MO 64052. Burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30 - 8:00 pm, Friday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Indep. MO. Where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. The family suggests masses to be said in her name at the Nativity Church or donations to the Nativity Church Building Fund. Kathryn was born in Sugar Creek, MO on Sep. 5, 1910. She was one of seven children and daughter of Mike and Helen Roper. She attended Sugar Creek School. Kathryn married Orson L. Nauser on August 8, 1931 and raised five children. In the 1960�s she worked as a saleslady at Harzfeld�s department store both downtown and at the Blue Ridge Mall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orson, daughter, Margaret Ann and two grandchildren. Mrs. Nauser is survived by her daughter, Frances Ellen Tanner, of Arcata, CA; three sons, James L. Nauser and wife, Mary Ruth of Liberty, MO; Orson L. (Jr) Nauser and wife, Nancy, of Independence, MO; and Mark S. Nauser and wife, Julie, of Overland Park, KS. Thirteen grandchildren, Two sisters, Mary Mitchel of Independence and Rose Frechin of Lee�s Summit, MO.
