Terry Neer

Terry Lee Neer, 70, passed away on June 1, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 8, at 10:00am, with family greeting friends from 9-10am, both at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. Burial will follow in Mount Washington Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.

Terry was born on June 9, 1945, in Braymer, MO, to Harry and Marjorie (Boyer) Neer. He graduated from Odessa High School, and went to work for KCP&L as a mechanic, retiring in 2002. He enjoyed landscaping and home improvement projects, and dearly loved his two Dachshunds.

Survivors include his son, Edward Neer; granddaughter, Ashley Harper; great-grandson, Nathan Abernathy; brother, Ronald Neer; sister, Frankie (Joe) Parshall; sister, Susie (Bill) Misenhelter; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter, Angela Lockridge.
