Faith Lamb Neff, 91, of Independence, MO, formally of Kansas City, Gladstone and North Kansas City, MO, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017. Faith was the daughter of Truman and Lee Arlie Grace Lamb. She spent most of her life in the Kansas City area, graduating from Central High School. In 1947, she married Lloyd L. Neff, Jr. and soon started a family raising 4 children. Faith devoted her life to being a housewife and taking care of her children. Her greatest joy and challenge was taking care of her son Kevin, who was born with special needs. She took care of him until she was no longer physically able to do so at the age of 86. Faith loved working the puzzles from the newspaper, especially crosswords. She also enjoyed listening to the music channels on TV and talk radio. Faith was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sons Lloyd L. Neff III and Karl D. Neff, her sister Dora Deane Chittim. She is survived by son Kevin B. Neff, Ferrelview, MO, daughter Karen Neff Bogard, Independence, MO, granddaughter Kimberlee Burnett (Chris), Liberty, MO grandson Max Neff, Rolla, MO, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Owen and Mary Neff and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Faith was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
