Geraldine Lee Nelson

Geraldine Lee (Pyle) Nelson, 78, of Independence, MO passed away June 30, 2005 at the Medical Center of Independence. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 6th at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-11:00 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Geraldine was born February 13, 1927 in Independence, MO to Ernest and Elsie (Masterson) Pyle. She was a Pressman in the printing industry and enjoyed writing poetry and other arts and crafts in her spare time. Mrs. Nelson is survived by her daughter Elise Michele Wittman-Nelson, son Clyde Douglas Nelson and wife Nona; grandchildren Kristi Dusina, Lorie Gardner, Stephen, Blake, Jenna and Vincent Nelson; 5 great-grandchildren; brother Norman E. Pyle.
