Sandra Kay Newberry, 65, Independence, MO passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014.
Sandra was born December 26, 1948 in Wana, WV the daughter of Thomas J. and Edna Dorothy (Weakley) Simpson. She was a homemaker and sold Avon for over 20 years. Sandra enjoyed crafts, and avid bowler and participated in numerous leagues over the years at Sterling Lanes.
Survivors include her loving husband Gayle Newberry of 42 years; sons, Carl Newberry and wife Monika, Craig Newberry and fiancé Nicole Orlando; daughter-in-law, Donna Newberry; grandchildren, Abigayle, Jake, Hazel, Cruz and Karly; sister, Peggy Martin and husband Gary; and additional nieces, nephews and loving family. Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Jim Newberry; brothers, Tommy and Dick Simpson, father and mother -in-law, Homer and Mary Newberry; and her parents.
