Levi Michael Joseph Newlon, 26 of Independence, Mo passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Cremation is planned with a Celebration of Life to be held at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 6:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the chapel. Levi was born March 2, 1990 in Kansas City, MO to Michael and Ginny (Henson) Newlon. He graduated from Blue Springs High School in 2009 and from Vatterott College with a double AAS degree and HVAC certification. He had worked as a HVAC installer and was a co-owner of N&L Services. He enjoyed hunting, fishing spending time at Table Rock Lake and loved the outdoors and most of all spending time with family. He was a certified wild lands fire fighter. Survivors include; his father, Michael Newlon and wife Diane of Lone Jack, MO; his mother, Ginny Henson of Independence, MO; a sister, Haleigh Newlon of Warrensburg, MO; a brother, Jordan Newlon of Independence, MO; 2 step sisters, Jennah Green and Marissa Green both of Lone Jack, MO; a step brother, Joshua Green of Columbia, MO; grandparents, Bill Newlon of Independence, MO and Gary and Gina Henson of Missouri City, MO; a special niece, Emaliah Newlon; 4 aunts, Tracy Henson (David Humphrey), Krisi Miller (Daxon), Brenda Peters (Eddie) and Amanda Stidham (Tommy) and many cousins and other friends.
