Loretta B. Nickelson

Loretta B. Nickelson, 79, of Independence, MO, passed away, Saturday, January 22, 2005 at Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 28, 2005 at the Carson Speaks Funeral Home 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Donations may be made to the East Side Baptist Church. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Friday at the chapel. Loretta was born April 6, 1925 in Buckner, MO to Forest & Lillie Mae (Shamehorn) Graham, and has been a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker and member of the East Side Baptist Church. She was married to Ray Victor Nickelson, who passed away in 2001. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Patricia Jane Nickelson in 1942. Survivors include nieces, nephews, a great niece and nephews.
