Nicole Marie Timberlake-Schnakenberg was born in Blue Springs, Missouri on September 4th, 1979 and passed away peacefully March 6th, 2025 at her home in Independence, Missouri. She was a warm and loving Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister, and friend to so many.
Nicole graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1997 where she participated in many extra curricular activities and programs. She worked at Stephenson's Apple Farm Restaurant for several years before entering into a 17 year career in Title Insurance. She was a fun loving and cheerful coworker who left a positive influence everywhere she worked.
Nicole enjoyed reading, the color red, camp fires, storms, collecting Coca Cola memorabilia, she loved listening to music, especially Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, The Dave Matthews Band, and Tool. Nicole was an avid sports fan who enjoyed cheering on the Chiefs and Royals, and especially enjoyed attending baseball games with friends and family, even getting the opportunity to watch the Royals win a World Series game in person with her family.
Nicole was especially devoted to her family which included many pets throughout her life. She was very generous and enjoyed surprising her loved ones with gifts. She was fiercely proud of her children who brought her so much joy.
Nicole is fondly remembered by her children, Kyle (Destiny) Schnakenberg, Karli Schnakenberg; grandchildren Arianna and Jaxson, mother Debra Timberlake- Crotty; stepfather Brian Crotty ; brother, Sean Crotty; former husband, Erick Schnakenberg; as well as her extended family and friends. Together they will carry forward her legacy, and memories of her generosity, warmth, and glowing personality.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
