Clifton Craig Nighswonger, 64 of Kansas City, MO passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at St. Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit. Cremation is planned with memorial services pending at a later date. Cliff was born August 18, 1956 in Sugar Creek, MO to Arthur and Margie (Kreeger) Nighswonger and has been a lifelong area resident. He had worked in the stamp fulfillment center for the US Postal Service for over 20 years. He and his wife enjoyed ballroom and swing dancing and traveling. He was a member of Connection Point Church in Raytown, MO where he had served as a deacon. Survivors include; his wife, Elizabeth “Betsy” Nighswonger of the home; a daughter, Rachel Ann McKeag and husband Chris of Highlands Ranch, CO; a son, Timothy Isaac Nighswonger of Bremerton, WA; a brother, Keith Nighswonger of Raytown, MO; 2 sisters, Brenda Davis and husband Dan of Overland Park, KS and Dana Marshall of Olathe, KS and 4 grandchildren, Lucas, Lucy, Charlie and Toby.
