Maxine Njegovan

Maxine Njegovan, 83 of Sugar Creek, MO passed away October 21, 2003 at Independence Regional Health Center. She was born August 24, 1920 in Wellington, MO the daughter of Ernest and Marie Ferman Allison. Maxine was a seamstress, artist, gardner and community volunteer. She was also an Officer of Mary Harmon Weeks Foundation, the P.T.A. and E. H. U. and was a friend of the Trinity Episcopal Church. Memorial Services 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 1, 2003 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 409 N. Liberty, Independence, MO 64050, with gathering of friends following the services. Memorials may be given to the Preservation fund of Trinity Episcopal Church. Maxine is survived by her husband Mike Njegovan and two daughters, Gina Njegovan, Kansas City, MO and Joy Phillips, Wichita, KS, three grandsons, Richard, Stephen and Donald and 12 great-grandchildren.
