Mary Ann Noland, 77, Edwards, MO, formerly of Independence, MO passed away Friday, December 14, 2012. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Mary Ann was born January 28, 1935 in Independence, MO the daughter of Everett and Lucille (Holley) Gates. She was a homemaker and enjoyed painting, gardening, crocheting, and most of all she loved being with family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Elsworth Lane in 1973 and her parents. Survivors include her loving husband Wayne Noland of 36 years; children, Terry Johnson, Rick Lane and wife Charlotte, Dennis Lane and wife Lori, Kyle Lane, Tammie Horrocks and husband David, Laurie Hays and husband James, Chris Noland and wife Mary, Larita Johnson and husband Wayne, Tammy Foster and Tom Noland and wife Mona; 29 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; brothers, Gene Gates and wife Shirley, Gerald Gates, and many friends that loved her.
