Verda Ann Nolte

Verda Ann Nolte, 92, daughter of Thomas Richard Mead, Sr. and Ruth Partridge Mead was born July 26, 1912 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She died July 12, 2005 at Four Seasons Living Center in Sedalia, Missouri. A graveside service will be 11 am Friday, July 15th at Green Lawn Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to Community Hospices of America, 1005 Northeast Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65109. She was united in marriage to Ralph Stetson Clark, October 5, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri, who died March 27, 1947. To this union was born one daughter: Linda Sue, Mrs. Edward J. Foster of Florence, Missouri. She was then united in marriage to Harvey Walter Nolte, Sr. August 8, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri who died April 26, 1971. She lived in the Greater Kansas City/Independence, Missouri area most of her adult life, moving to Sedalia in 1998 when her health began to fail, to be closer to her daughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Thomas Richard Mead, Jr.. in 1984 and a stepson, Harvey Walter Nolte, Jr. in 1997. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by a daughter-in-law, Janet A. Nolte of Merriam, Kansas and four grandchildren:, Clark Edward Foster of Stover, MO; Christopher Scott Foster of Sedalia, MO; Jeffrey Wayne Nolte of Shawnee Mission, KS; and Harvey Walter Nolte III of Rockport, TX; one great grandchild, Thomas Clark Foster of Stover, MO.
