Alene Marvel Norman

Arlene Marvel Norman, 84 of Lexington, MO passed away Thursday, February 15, 2007 at the Lexington Care Center. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at a later date. Arlene was born March 5, 1922 in Florence County, KS to Frank and Dea (Cook) Hunter. She had worked as a nurse and caregiver most of her life. She was a member of the Ridgeway Christian Church. She loved to fish, crochet and knit and make quilts. She is survived by 2 daughters, Dorothy Elliott of Buckner, MO and Norma Bruce of Sunrise Beach, MO; a son Edward Norman of Independence, MO; 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Dorrance Hunter in 1928 and Arva Hunter.)
