Jeff Norman

March 11, 1958 — May 22, 2020

Jeff Norman was granted his angel wings on May 22, 2020. The way he died is just as he lived, he wrote his own rules, and he paved his own way. His family knew him as a faithfully devoted husband of 40 years, loving dependable father, and an ornery doting PaPa. Jeff was able to take care of his mother Barbara for the past 9 years. Jeff was Barbara’s only son. He was a wonderful big brother, an amazing and much-loved Uncle. He was a lifelong Sugar Creeker and a graduate of St Mary’s Bundschu Memorial 1976. Jeff always knew the right thing to say, even if it was wildly inappropriate, which will be missed by all who knew him. He was also a firm believer that he should have been a race car driver, always outshining any other car on the road. Jeff was a sheet metal guru, having worked with sheet metal for over 35 years. He would still affectionately visit his buddy’s shop weekly to spread his humor and “joy”. Jeff loved a beautiful day on his boat, the smell of M-80’s, tending his garden and hanging with his buddies which he’s had since childhood. Jeffery Edward Norman will be lovingly and dearly missed. “Well, I don’t know, but I’ve been told You never slow down, you never grow old.” Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
