Donna Gayle Norris

Donna G. Norris, 61, Independence, MO passed away May 2, 2006. A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Sat., May 6, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; cremation. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to Crossroads Hospice. Donna was born Aug. 5, 1944 in Nevada, MO and was the youngest of nine children. She was an accountant and most recently worked for McKeever�s Price Chopper Grocery Store. She also had previously worked in the front office of the Kansas City Kings NBA team and at the Woodlands Racetrack. Donna was an avid fan of basketball, baseball and football - college and pro. She is survived by her best friend and housemate Elise Childers; her adopted family Greg & Terri Steele and three beloved granddaughters Amy, Ashley and Lindsey Steele, all of Independence.
