Dorothy Lee Norton

Dorothy Lee Norton, 75, Independence, MO passed away peacefully in her sleep during the morning hours of Dec. 10, 2006. Services will be 10 am, Sat., Dec. 16, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm, Friday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the charity of your choice.
Dorothy was born July 17, 1931 in Oregon, MO. She graduated from Northwest Mo. State University where she met her future husband, Bill Norton. Dorothy and Bill were married May 24, 1952. She taught Home Ec. for 17 years at Ft. Osage High School and retired in 1988.
Dorothy is survived by her husband Bill Norton, of the home; daughters Linda Dennis and husband Mike, Sandy UT; Susie Brownrigg and husband Russ, The Woodlands, TX; Valerie Wanner and husband Bill, Sioux City, IA; Becky Suarez, Lee�s Summit, MO; son-in-law Joseph Suarez, Fairfax, VA; brothers Joe Noellsch, Oregon, MO; John Noellsch and wife Bev, Skidmore, MO; Bob Noellsch and wife Jane, Bowling Green, MO; sister-in-law Clara Foley, Mt. Dora, FL; grandchildren Ryan, Haley and Joey Dennis; Rusty and Matt Brownrigg; Jason, Natalie and Brian Wanner; Katie and Chelsea Suarez; and many other family members.
