Veta V. O'Dell

Veta V. O�Dell, 84, Independence, Mo. died Dec. 3, 2004 at Independence Manor. Services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at Speaks Suburban Chapel; private burial at Old Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Veta was born Aug. 1, 1920 in Garden City, Mo. She worked in the meat department at Kroger Grocery Stores for 24 years and was a member of the Amalgamated Meat Cutters Local #576. She was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Robert C. & Wanda J. Epperson, Indep., Mo.; brother and sister-in-law Robert F. & Marybelle Coe, Chandler, Az.; grandson David Epperson and wife Jodi, Blue Springs, Mo.; three great-granddaughters; two step great-granddaughters; three great-great-granddaughters; and two great-great-grandsons.
