James Oldham

James H. Oldham, 82, of Independence, MO passed away April 26, 2014. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 2, at Mound Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Jim was born February 26, 1932 in Fairmount, MO to Jack and Alice (Barrett) Oldham. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. After 35 years of service, Jim retired from Armco Steel. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Noralene Oldham (March 2014); one son, Ricky Lloyd Oldham; one granddaughter, Melissa Jean Oldham; and eight siblings. He is survived by two sons, Jim Oldham and wife Brenda, Tracy Oldham and wife Tamara; one daughter, Melinda Oldham; one sister, Helen Jordan; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
