Roberta E. Oliver, 83, Bates City, MO passed away peacefully May 20, 2017 with loved ones at home. Services will be 2 pm, Thursday, May 25 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; interment at Bates City Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 pm before the service at the chapel.
Roberta was born Oct. 13, 1933 in Des Moines, IA. She worked at and retired from Bendix Corp. She will be greatly missed. When we see the birds she loved to watch and her blooming roses it will be an added remembrance of the love she freely gave and the joy she brought to her family.
Roberta was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Edna Nisser, sister Mildred Curtis, brother Fred Nisser and grandbabies Nova and twins Byson and Trison Wild. She is survived by her husband of forty-five years David Oliver; daughters Maryanna Crawford and husband Don, Odessa, MO; Joyce Wild and husband Mike, Bates City, MO stepchildren Charles Oliver, Long Lane, MO; Cheryl Dooley, Edwards, MO; John Oliver; brother-in-law Troy Thomas and wife Jeanne, Barnett, MO and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
