Benjamin Bob "Ben" Orell

Benjamin Bob Orell, a “gentle giant”, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 19, 2021. He was 41. Ben was born to Bobby and Bonnie Orell on May 8, 1980 in Independence, Missouri.
Ben was a kind, quiet man with a vibrant imagination. He looked forward to the Renaissance Festival every year so he could dress the part and join in on the medieval role playing tradition. Ben enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid gamer. He was a sweet, loving soul and will be missed greatly.
He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Likely-Orell; brother, Brian Orell and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ben is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Orell; brother, Bradley Orell and his grandparents, Thomas and Nellie Likely.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, Missouri. An Inurnment will take place at Floral Hills Cemetery at a later date.
