Bradley Joseph Orell, 47, of Independence, MO, passed away, Friday, September 5, 2014 at his residence. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time Thursday at the chapel. Brad was born November 28, 1966 in Independence, MO to Bobby J. and Bonnie Jo (Likely) Orell and has been a lifelong area resident graduating from Truman High School in 1985. He later attended Central Missouri State in Warrensburg, MO. He had worked as an operator for AT&T for a number of years before becoming disabled. He was an avid drum player and played in the praise band at his church and other blue’s bands and was a movie buff and collector. He is survived by: a son, Jacob Orell of Warrensburg, MO; a daughter, Hannah Lyn Orell, of Sedalia, MO; his mother, Bonnie J. Likely Orell; 2 brothers, Brian J. Orell of Bagdad, AZ and Ben Orell of Independence, MO and his ex-wife, Connie Cooper of Sedalia, MO.
